Manning: McCoy 'ready' to become head coach - chicagotribune.com: "ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is ready to become a head coach in the estimation of Peyton Manning.

The Broncos practiced Wednesday for the first time this week during their bye as the top seed in the AFC playoffs, and players in the locker room gave complete support to McCoy, who is scheduled to be interviewed by Chicago Bears general manager Phil Emery this weekend. McCoy also has interviews lined up with the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills. Rumors are more teams could be involved at some point, although all interviews must be completed by Sunday evening. Then, McCoy is off limits until the Broncos’ season ends."
