Hillary Clinton Discharged From Hospital: "U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been discharged from a New York hospital where she had been recovering for days from a blood clot in her head.
Clinton left New York-Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday evening with her husband, former president Bill Clinton, and their daughter Chelsea.
An official statement said the secretary's medical team advised her she is making "good progress" on all fronts. Doctors said they are confident she will make a full recovery.
Earlier in the day, the State Department said Clinton was engaging by telephone with her staff in Washington who have been handling U.S. foreign policy in her absence. The official statement did not say when Clinton would return to work in Washington."
