Kobe Bryant says Clippers are championship worthy - latimes.com
Kobe Bryant says Clippers are championship worthy - latimes.com: "Bryant's the one who called the Lakers old and slow the other day, and he continued the metaphor while talking about the Clippers.
He said the Lakers needed to play cautiously against them, with more cushion on defense, the same way a slow cornerback would stand farther off the line against a quick receiver.
"They're more explosive," Bryant said. "They have a lot of explosiveness with scorers coming off the bench. We have guys that are very solid and do what we ask them to do."
The Lakers haven't lost a season series to the Clippers since 1992-93, the year Sedale Threatt was their leading scorer. A Clippers victory Friday would make them 2-0 against the Lakers with two more left this season."

Lakers' Kobe Bryant enjoys one of his most productive stretches - latimes.com
Lakers' Kobe Bryant enjoys one of his most productive stretches - latimes.com: "Those who gripe that Kobe Bryant shoots too much must concede one point.
Actually, two or three, on nearly every Lakers possession.
The veteran guard has been scoring almost any time he wants thanks to a career rebirth that features the best shooting accuracy of his 17 seasons with the Lakers.
He also just concluded a December in which his averages of 33.79 points, 5.57 rebounds and 4.64 assists were the highest cumulative marks in those categories in any month in his career.
At 34, Bryant has essentially flipped the calendar backward heading into 2013."
